Detention center mattresses are manufactured to provide a balance between prisoner comfort and facility security. Mattresses are manufactured from a variety of materials and colors, including window-clear and semi-clear transparent vinyl and translucent durable scrim vinyl to help prevent the concealment of contraband, as well as standard blue or green.
